A Lengthy Description

My name is Danette Jendryng. I'm 21 years old, Chinese, and a California native. While I am not overtly proud of my Eastern heritage, I am quite proud of my West Coast state. I am a pretty big nerd, and to further prove this point, I am proud to be able to brag say that I share Harry Potter's birthday. I am the only one to be permanently bespectacled in my immediate family; I was born nearsighted and my eyesight is terrible. However, I hope to undergo laser surgery someday so that I will be able to see things without glasses on.

I am the middle child of three, so often I undergo the symptoms and effects of middle child syndrome. Because of this, I am often angry and bitter towards my family; this, along with the short temper that many Leos have, makes me a very volatile person. I can be stubborn, argumentative, and verbally abusive. It is very difficult for me to initiate and maintain relationships with anyone. This is further fueled by past romantic relationships I have had in which I was used, cheated on, lied to, and thoroughly underappreciated. After four years of falling for the wrong men, I decided it was time to take a break from dating for some me time.

However, in April of 2009 I met Ryan in a World Literature class we happened to be taking together. Soon we were dating, and on May 13th we made it an exclusive relationship. As time passed, I was able to feel comfortable with him and to open up to him, allowing him to know me and in the end, I was finally able to trust him with my heart. I am totally in love with him and not only has he changed me for the better, he has also made me realize that I am beautiful inside and out, just the way I am, whether I am in sweatpants or pajamas, slacks or a skirt. I love you, Ryan ♥

I graduated from a high school I didn't like in 2006 and immediately enrolled at a community college. I am currently attending a four-year university as of fall 2009 majoring in English. I always thought the classes under the subject would be easy and pure cakewalk; however, within a month of classes starting I have learned that higher education English courses are difficult, often confusing, and rather enjoyable.

After working nearly a year (2007-2008) in retail at the worst store I can think of, which also offered the worst employee discounts fathomable, I finally quit and remained unemployed until the end of 2008 when I applied and was accepted into the Disney College Program. At the end of my paid internship I chose to remain with the company and happily work in the Attractions department.
